Unlike most bloggers, I blog only when I have something to report about the progress on the different theatre projects I’m writing or projects outside the umbrella of MACJAC Productions, i.e.. the formation of FRONTLINE THATRE COMPANY…

I'm not so sure blogging about vacations I've taken to interesting/NOT interesting places, is something that would motivate all of you to read my blog. I'm considered to be an outgoing person. At the same time the people who would tell you I'm outgoing, would also say I can be a private person; so personal revelations on where I travel, family life, my small, tight-nit, circle of friends, will not be forth coming.

Besides, I consider myself to be NOT that hard of a guy to figure out - lol!

As far as projects outside the pervue of MACJAC Productions... WOULD LOVE to talk about...

We're located in Surprise, Arizona; and are predominately made up of military veterans like me.Last Saturday we held auditions for two plays we will be staging later this year...

Both written by Award Winning playwright, and U.S. Navy veteran, Charles Evered.

ADOPT a SAILOR... Chuck, that's what his friends call him, and his story about why he joined the Navy is as equally interesting as these two plays. Rumor has it that when he was an up and coming playwright, Chuck was told that joining the military was a guaranteed, "You'll never work in this town again" death sentence. Those of us that know him, think whomever told him that, gave him the greatest motivation to join the military - lol!

Chuck's father was a WW2 veteran, and Chuck always admired his father for it.

ADOPT a SAILOR takes place during Fleet Week, in New York city; just after 9/11.

The wife of a stodgy, upper east side, couple, takes the suggestion of another stodgy, upper east side wife, and commits to, for a day, taking a Sailor into their home, and feeding him/her a meal, and pretending that she and her husband actually care about the men and women serving in the military. The wife care's so much that she forgets she made the commitment... and it all get's hysterically funny from that point to the play's poignant conclusion, when the Sailor shows up at their front door.

CLOUDS HILL... is a political thriller with a college professor - or is he? ... shows up on his first day as a new faculty member at a prestigious, liberal/woke college.

He's taken an interest in a student in his class... or is the student really a student?

We will announcing play dates soon, SO... STAY TUNED!

New to report on...
